About Em.
I am an artist and designer who strives to explore and master a wide range of impactful creative methods. My background includes over five years of experience in graphic design, web design and digital art creation. I spent four years studying Art and Design at UC Santa Cruz, where I graduated with my bachelor’s degree and Dean's honors. I spent two of those years as an intern at a local software marketing firm, and am currently working as a Marketing Coordinator for a local business.
Marketing Coordinator, Northern Lights Importing Inc.
July 2025 - Present
As the Marketing Coordinator at NLI, I manage posting, content planning, content creation, engagement boosting, & conversion tracking for 6 different Instagram accounts to promote the sales of luxury lighting fixtures, promoting traffic and referrals to 8 different Shopify websites. I oversee website maintenance, design, UX, UI, content, and improvement for these websites on a daily basis. I design all content using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (for print advertising), and Canva.
I coordinate daily operations at our California office reporting to the director of the company, including performing administrative tasks for our 30+ clients across Australia and New Zealand. I also uphold duties like managing our warehouse team, delegating them assignments and tasks to meet goals.
