A Slug's Guide to Going Outside is a cultural map of the alternative culture that is alive in Santa Cruz, CA. In collaboration with Alex Hernandez, I created  interactive 3D augmented reality experiences that can be viewed using a smartphone, and the Adobe Aero app. These experiences can be accessed via scanning QR codes that are embedded into a physical zine. I felt that it was important to capture zine culture as a transmission of alternative expression and communication of the scene in Santa Cruz.
